About Us

In 1939, George Olmezer Appraisal Services Inc. was formed as an appraisal company.  Mr. Olmezer was a visionary and community leader.  When he decided to retire in the early 60’s, he turned the reins over to Maurice ("Butch") Lospinoso who had been with Mr. Olmezer for many years and who had been trained personally by him.

Since then, Butch has carried on the tradition of Olmezer Appraisal as well as passing on their credo, "We assume nothing... we check everything" to the next generation of appraisers and future leadership of Olmezer Appraisal Services, Inc.  What began as a very small appraisal firm has grown to a company of 20 employees.  Butch has always been active in the community and his reputation and integrity are known throughout the industry.

Gregory Lospinoso was born and grew up in his father's business and has been in the appraisal industry for over 20 years.  He is presently the Chief Operations Officer and supervises all appraisers and admin staff.  As well, Gregory is very involved in improving current processes either through automation or eliminating redundancies throughout the claim life cycle.

Olmezer Appraisal is a provider of professional auto appraisal services in New Jersey since 1939.  We currently service the Northern and Central New Jersey areas.  We provide services to the top tiered insurance companies, as well as major legal and accounting firms.

Communication - We are different in that we are not your standard "fast food" appraisal services firm.  We know how important it is to communicate personally with our clients and are available to them to answer any questions they may have during the appraisal lifecycle.

Technology - We have the latest technology available in our industry and are constantly looking at ways to improve our current business procedures.

Experience – 90% of our appraisers have been with us 5 years or more and have years of experience in the industry.  We continue to provide job related training to our appraisers to keep them up-to-date with the latest advances/changes in our industry.
